FRONT-WHEEL DRIVE OR ALL-WHEEL DRIVE

With front-wheel drive the weight of the engine and differential is over the driving/steering wheels providing added traction on wet, slippery or loose surfaces. All-wheel drive responds to accelerator pedal position or front wheel slippage, dividing power between the front and rear wheels. All-wheel drive standard on R/T AWD.

SUSPENSION

The MacPherson strut front suspension with an isolated front cradle and independent multilink rear suspension with an isolated suspension cradle team together to enhance ride quality for a comfortable and quiet ride. Tuned to provide an optimum balance of ride, handling and noise isolation. Performance-tuned suspension standard on R/T AWD and available on SXT (with 19-inch aluminum wheels).
  • Touring suspension included on SXT. Normal-duty suspension standard on SE Canada Value Package and SE Plus (with 2.4 engine and 16-inch wheels).

RACK AND PINION STEERING

Speed-proportional, power-assisted rack and pinion steering system is tuned to balance comfort and ease of operation providing good on-centre feel and responsiveness. Performance-tuned steering is included with 19-inch aluminum wheels.
